It’s official! For my kids, their last day was yesterday. The only thing we have left to do is pick up grade cards tomorrow morning. Soon we will begin our new venture into having 1 still in public school and 2 being homeschooled. This is a huge decision for us, but we feel that this is where God is leading us at this time. We’re very excited about it! And nervous….. It’s going to be a big adventure. I know we’ve homeschooled before but it’s going to be different trying to juggle also having one in public school. Over the summer, we’re going to be signing up under a homeschool umbrella as well as looking into what teaching materials we will be using and what co-op classes we want to get involved in as well as joining our local chapter of THEA. Lots to do this summer!
As for entertainment for the kids before then, well we plan to take the kids back to Dollywood as well as to the Tennessee Aquarium and to play putt-putt. We also plan to go swimming some (weather permitting). The girls will also be spending a week at AWANA camp in June, so I’m not sure what Michael and I will do while they’re gone. I’m sure we’ll get in some mother-son time somewhere. Should be a fun, but busy, summer!
My oldest LOOOOVES Tennessee Aquarium!! Enjoy your summer off and don't go too crazy!
