I look forward to the warmer weather every year because it’s the only time of year that I can make sun tea!
And it’s so easy to make! All you need is:
-
1 gallon glass pitcher/container (I use an old 1 gallon pickle jar)
-
4 family size tea bags (or the amount you prefer)
-
water
-
sun
In the morning, add your tea bags to the pitcher/container fill with water, put lid on tightly, and find a nice sunny spot to place your pitcher and leave all day! By early evening, you’ll have a gallon of tea! Sweeten or flavor to your preference, and enjoy! It’s cheap, easy, and, best of all, no electricity or heat required other than solar heat (and it’s free)!

I remember my Mom making sun tea every summer when I was a kid. I haven't thought of it in years though!
