Last Friday, my mother-in-law, the one who recently celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage, had a mild stroke. She was in the hospital from Saturday night until Wednesday when she finally came home.
It’s been a big adjustment for everyone, especially my in-laws. She is not able to do anything by herself at this point. She has lost almost all control of her left arm and is having problems with her left leg as well as a few other issues from the stroke. She also had another mild stroke on very early Monday morning. She’s been falling a lot and is having an extremely hard time having to rely on everyone else. Please, keep us all in your prayers. I believe that there are going to be some very hard decisions to be made in the near future if things continue down this path.
So, if I’m not posting here much, I hope that you’ll understand. I’m wanting to share some of my favorite holiday recipes, so keep an eye out for them. Hopefully, I can find a few minutes to squeeze in a post or two.
Praying for you guys! Love you!

Hi Steph, I recently discovered your blog and really enjoy your "country" posts–especially the recipes. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Will pray for her & your family. On a brighter note, I've awarded you with a Kreative Blogger Award. When you have time, please stop by my blog and take a look. Blessings to you. Deborah

As always, my dear friend, you are in my prayers. The hardest thing abut faith is not always having a clear vision of the path the Lord has put us on but knowing that He's there, holding our hand and leading us safely through the obstacles on that path. I'm always here for you, no matter the hour.
