Menu Plan: 09/20-09/26

Wow!  Another week has gone by and it’s been crazy once again.  This week is looking about the same.  More craziness.  But, I’m trying to keep a menu plan in place and keep down on the food costs.  We are going on an all day field trip on Thursday and will be eating out then, but I’ll also be taking some snacks with us to help keep costs down.  So, here’s my plan for the week:
Breakfast:
  • cereal
  • bagels with cream cheese
  • oatmeal

Lunch:

  • sandwiches

  • ham & cheese roll ups

  • leftovers

Dinner:

  • Poor Man’s soup
  • Crock Pot Chili
  • Loaded Baked Potato Soup 
  • spaghetti
  • Leftovers
  • Field Trip

That’s all I’m going to plan for right now.  If I need more, there’s plenty of food in the pantry/freezer.

I’m not sure what has been happening, but I hope I’ve gotten it fixed.  Please feel free to email me if the problem continues.  I know I’ve not been very active lately due to a lot going on, but I’m hoping to be back this week!  I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ve been out of the loop for a couple of weeks and I can sure tell it! We’ve ate out more than usual and not ate nearly as well as we should have. I’ll be very glad to get back into my routine. So, here’s my attempt at a menu for the week.

Breakfast:

  • Bagels
  • Biscuits w/ jelly

Lunch:

  • Sandwiches
  • Leftovers
  • Ham & cheese roll ups
  • fruits
  • pretzels

Dinner:

  • Pinto Beans w/ fried potatoes & cornbread
  • Refried Bean Burritos
  • Chili (?)
  • Spaghetti w/ sauce
  • Crock Pot Chicken & potatoes
  • Leftovers
  • Out to eat (?) My Birthday is Friday so we might go out one night.
