It’s hard to believe that another week has come and gone. Having a menu plan in place was so nice. I can really tell a difference in the weeks that I have a menu plan in place and the weeks that I don’t. The weeks without a menu plan are more chaotic and we’re more apt to stop and grab something quick either at the store or the drive-thru. I can’t say that it takes care of all of the hectic times, but it does cut down on the stress of “what’s for dinner?”.
This week, I’m going to try to use what I already have. No, that doesn’t mean that I won’t be going to the store, but I’m trying very hard to get back to planning my menu around what I have on hand already and not around the store sales. This helps me to be even more flexible because my meals are already planned and I can then just focus on what’s for sale that I need in my pantry (not including fresh fruits & veggies, of course) and not what I need to complete my menu plan for the week. Does that make sense? LOL

We’re supposed to get together with my parents this weekend so that’s why there’s question marks for one day. Not sure what the plans are yet. We’ll just play it by ear.
